My wife and I are shopping for a Tahoe/Yukon... I really like the Yukon more, but something that is fully loaded and not beat and not racked on the miles.

I am here mainly researching the "best" years or the worst years. Is there a year that has bad engines or issues with this or that... that is what I am looking for.

I had a third vehicle which was my truck and sold it and plan to sell my wives car to consolidate to having 2 vehicles. My daily commuter and a Yukon to haul the family and toys.

I have dirt bikes and I plan on pulling a smaller enclosed trailer or getting a
hitch mount bike carrier.

Thanks
Nick

Welcome. Well everyone has their opinions on best years so its gonna be up to you to decide. Motor wise gm has always had good engines. The 5.7 obs is great aswell as the nbs 5.3 and 6.2 ive heard 06 was a pretty good year for the nbs

Thanks
looking between 03-05 ... a lot has to do with price. I don't want to spend $16k. I am thinking my max is $10k. I got approval for $20 something but I already knew I didn't want to spend that so the figure didn't matter.

I had a 03 SC silvy and a 06 CC Sierra Z71... the z71 is why i want a 05/06 Yukon fully loaded so badly... I like the style, interior and exterior.
