Okay newbie here. What appliqués are you refering too? For the center of the wheels?

No -- I'd call those "center caps." :)

GM calls the plastic body panels that are located at the back, upper corners of the truck (directly above the trail lights) "appliqués."

Personally I think since it's leveled it looks GREAT. I'm still on the fence whether I should drop the rear or raise the front 1" with the ReadyLift kit. Both are around the same price so that isn't an issue... What's swaying me towards the ReadyLift kit is that supposedly there is no difference in ride and that's the way I want to keep it...

Felix, if you wait 2/3 weeks i'll be able to give you a personal account of the pros/cons of the 2" rear leveling drop and you'll be able to see how it looks on a similar truck. It's sitting in the closet waiting for me to clear some time to get it done.

I've waited this long so I guess waiting a few more weeks won't hurt. I don't plan on ever switching/changing back to stock so it's crucial I get it right the first time... when I move to Colorado, this car is staying behind in LA so it's not getting anymore mods after the suspension mod is complete :(

I can't wait to see how the 2" rear drop looks on yours... so which one's did you go with? McG or BT? I know KMel said that the BT 2" rear drop requires slight modification to get it perfectly leveled. Looking at his 1" readylift setup and the factory oem 22's/same size tires as mine really gives me a good idea of what mine would look like WITH the readylift and i'm really liking the look.

Same here, but I got the Belltech springs (box says 5321, instructions say 23323) from a site vendor with spacers. No shock brackets are suppsedly required, but while I asked, I got only 1 Autoride link to use as template to make my own (sigh), so still don't know what exactly, is the best way to lower the rear of an Autoride truck only 1-2". It will get done whenever I find time to try to make another Autoride link.

The best way to lower an autoride truck only 1"-2" in the rear is with a spring that only lowers the truck 1"-2" in the rear. Otherwise, if the springs make the truck lower, and you try to make it up with link adjustments, the ride (with more air in the shocks) goes to crap.
