at the end of the day It is your truck so as long as u you like it that is all that matters. I think it is super clean but I would like it more without the stripe

Blacked out the chrome. Used black chrome spray that matches the pillars very nicely.
Also, added SS badge to give it some "flare".
Going for OEM look, as if I purchased a sport model Tahoe from the dealer.
Still have the front grill to do.

Did you remove the chrome trim and then paint? Or did you just do a really good job of taping off and then paint?

Only the bottom window trim (two pieces)comes off, the rest is riveted in. Two screws, one on each end. Then you lift up and pull rearward.
The pillars have one screw near the top and then you push them rearward, while pushing inward. I know this cause I broke them trying to remove them the wrong way!
