I was stationed in Aschaffenburg back 1985-1990 there was a Corvette/Tri5 Chevys and Jeeps CJ-7s clubs in town.

Those guys were very passionate about their car/trucks.

over here nearly all owners of US cars take care of their rides. I think it is because these cars are something special . Who drives a US car will never go back to another car. Because of so much reasons...
from the faboulus engines..over the comfort ..to the reliability. and of course the value ! A 1998 Tahoe for example is still a car that brings around 8-10 k Euros if it is for sale.
2005 Mustang.. in good cond. 17-20 k euros...
