Newbie to the forum and to lowering looking for some help.

Want to give somewhere between a 2/2 and 3/5 drop on my 96 2DR FWD hoe. If I were to crank the torsion bar down in the front and remove a leaf from the rear would that work and if so what problems might I have? Also what other inexpensive options are there?

Never dropped a truck before so I'm kinda flying blind here, any help is appreciated. Thanks

For the rear I would get 2" lowering shackles. I think they are like $20 at auto parts stores. If not you can find them online for 20-40$.

Cheap mods would be color match your front Bowtie and take off all molding and emblems!

Already blacked out the grill and bowtie, took off all the molding and badges. So if i went with the lowering shackles for the rear instead of removing a leaf and just cranked down the torsion bar for the front you think that would work well and still give me a decent ride?

stock keys will only give you about an inch of drop.belltech keys will give you up to 1-3 inches of drop.the rear can be done a number of ways: 2 in shackles=2in drop ,2 in shackles and 4door drop hangers redrilled for 2 door=3 1/2 drop or drop leaves and 2in shackles= 5 in drop. lower than 5in you need a c notch
