Newbie needs some help. Tire Question...

I just orderd new 16" wheels for my 2000 Tahoe LT 4X4. I wanna put the biggest tire i can on them without any rubbing problems. I was thinking 285/75r16. Will they work? Can I go bigger and just put a few turns in the torsion bars? I really dont wanna buy any lift components..... Thanks!!

Size: 16" x 9"
Offset: -12mm
Bolt Pattern: 6 on 5.5

If you don't mind cranking a little bit, I'd say those tires will work okay.

Those tires will be just fine. Maybe crank a bit but you should be A ok
