Hello everyone. Just picked up a 97 2dr. I pick it up, drive it home, pull in the driveway and shut it down and my wife notices that antifreeze is flowing from under it. Well it looks like it's coming from the plastic drain plug on the bottom corner of the driver side. I have a couple of questions that I'm hoping all of you can answer. I did a search on the subjects and found some great info but it left me with a couple of other questions.

First, should I just replace the radiator? I found a rebuilt "heavy duty" one, from a very reputable local shop, for $129 or should I screw around with trying to fix the drain plug somehow? This is where I think it's leaking from and I tried tightening it and it didn't budge.

Second, if I replace the radiator should I do a full system flush while I have the system open? Seems like a no brainer but just though I'd get the opinions.

Third, when I reconnect the trans lines and oil cooler lines is there anything that I need to do to either of those or am I good after reconnecting?

Last but not least - Green or Orange on the refill? Part of my understanding of the Dexcool had to do it's anti-corrosive properties and how it works with the aluminum components in the engine. From what I'm reading that may not be entirely true if people are running green.

I know it's a lot, but I do appreciate the help. Since I just bought this thing I'm probably going to become a regular on this site. My wish list gets longer every time I visit.

For $129 I would save the hassle of trying to fix it and replace it.

I would flush it for sure.

Nope just unplug, cap and reconnect when ready.

I'm not a dexool/antifreeze expert. I know that you can't mix dexcool and the old stuff.

You mind as well swap the radiator hoses and belt now ...

I would flush the system then go for the new radiatior, hoses, and thermostat, and water Pump and a new belt. I use the green Prestone, it does not seem to have corrosion issues as the orange dex cool. I know this is a lot be it is easier to change all this when you have the radiatior out.
