Hey everybody I've been flipping through the forums for a while now and finally decided to register. Everyone on here seems pretty cool so I figured why not find out some cool things to do to my trucks and get some helpful info. So whats up everybody?. Oh and I have a 1999 Tahoe 4x4 and a 1996 Silverado 4x4 Ext cab. Not sure what I want to do to them yet. I really like the Military/Police look on these trucks.

With stock vehicle you obviously have lots of work to do.. If the bodys are good and clean start out with a little lifting or some lighting upgrades to accent the bodys.

Yea, I can really see how this can be addicting all these mods can be, I never realized how many people put this kind of work into these style trucks and all the crazy and cool stuff some of you guys do. I think the thing I want to do first is lift my 1999 Tahoe. The only problem is I don't know anything about "lift kits", "Blocks" or "cranking". I don't want a really tall truck just something tall enough to fit larger off road tires. Any ideas?

Hey rolfsent... welcome to forum.
:welcome:
Can I do that if I'm as new here as you are?! :rotflmao:

About the lift and larger tires you want... are you gonna offroad the thing? If yes what kind of terrain / driving style is it? This will determine the size of lift and size and type of tire you need. Be upfront about how you intend to use your 4x4 is the best advice at this point.

Good luck

Thanks for the welcomes! I don't really plan on doing much off roading, it would be more for the look.
