I'm not sure what I want to buy next. I'm thinking of either just upgrading my brake pad and rotors (both are still working fine). Or, I'm thinking of removing my flowmasters and changing them for some Corsa sports. The only reason I'm thinking of changing out the exhaust is to quiet down the cabin for my family. They haven't really complained about the exhaust as it is now, but I know it bothers the wifey a bit.

If your brakes are good I would say go for the exhaust

depends what year and model you have. I consider my dad's 02 suburban's brakes to be barely adequate for stopping the vehicle, and when I tow, I go white knuckle quite often...so, on that truck I would do brakes.

On my 85 blazer that had flowmaster 40's (or 50's I can't remember which) I opted for the exhaust because I got old :)

I got an 06 tahoe and the brakes feel fine....I'm going to get it checked though just to be sure.

I am sure I am going to be in the minority on this one...but if the brakes feel fine, and you look at them and there is a good amount of meat on the shoes, and no major grooving on the rotors, I would leave them alone. UNLESS you have a VERY good shop that you trust explicitly. I have seen way too many times people being taken for a ride from brake shops...oh look, you only have blah blah inches left, and I can't legally let you leave and on and on.
