Anybody switched over from the Nitto 420s to the Nitto 421q? I've had the 285/45/22 420s for 3 1/2 years and they need to be replaced. The sidewalls are dry rotting and cracking. Got about 60,000 miles on them and rotated them often.

I'm curious if anybody has tried out the 421Qs and how do they look compared to the 420s?

Thanks

I have been running them for about a year now although i don't put on alot of miles. They have seen dry, wet, snow, and icy conditions. They handled it all with no issues plus they look good. I'm running a 275/55/20.

I had them. The Bridgestone are better.

I like mine. Altho they are at aprox 50% tread and have started slipping on wet roads.. Or maybe I'm just pushing them a lot harder..
I don't know, I just mash the pedal. :)

95% of the time, I don't even consider traction to be a issue, they just grab and go.

They ride smooth, quiet and are relatively cheap.
Grab a set, I don't think you will be dissapointed, especially with wet traction vs the early 420's.

I have to imagine they are quieter than the 420s as well. Those things seriously HUM
