Yeah I need to do this. Did you upgrade your alternator too or was the stock one enough along with the big 3?

The stock one is enough with the big 3 for my setup. 700 watts more and I would need a new alternator.

I run the stock with a Xs power 3400 secondary powering a Crescendo 2k and My voltage only drops at idle.

It's a few guys that run Sundown Audio 3k's around me and they run the stock alt with 3-4 nice battery's and have no problem with voltage.

Thanks guys. I was just wondering just incase I upgrade more in the future but I'm still gonna do this pretty soon.

Modded, is your system in your sig your final until you get a new ride.

Yes it is my final one until I get the next gen Tahoe/Yukon.
It is my last mod period because I have dropped $10k into in since I got it and anything after this point would be a waste.

What did you do with the smaller wire that was snipped from the negative terminal? Was it just taped and left alone or reconnected?
