Even though mine was a Highway Patrol vehicle, and ran a crazy aggressive tune on E85, it burns almost no oil. I doubt that I will have to add any between changes.

Mine is an 07 I bought with 80k. It now has 110k, burns a little oil, Ive done one major repairs (new rear end), rear AC lines, then just maintenance items like brakes (mine needed all 4 calipers too), shocks, ball joints, tires, etc. Most of that was due to it living in Upstate NY until I bought it and brought it to Texas. Runs strong, and I do expect a lot of life left in it.

08 Yukon Denail 199,700 as of today!!
The rear view camera has quit a few times probably the battery or loose connection.
Use NAPA synthectic oil with NAPA Platinum filter changed every 7500 miles roughly every 2 months.
Have not changed transmission fluid shifts like new.
Before winter it will go in for tires, front brakes & rotors, plugs and wires, wires are showing some cracking.
Usualy trade around 250K. last unit traded at 272K but did have transmission rebuilt @ 240.
Want to run this until the new body style comes out, should make it OK

Thats impressive for and 08' Denali. My 08' Denail only has 38,000

Just ran my 07 pretty ******* nearly 3000 mile road trip last week, running straight through from Denver to Toledo (about 1300 miles in a shot), Toledo down to Dayton and back, then Toledo back home to Denver. Once settled in on the highway, the truck slipped into a nice cruising groove and ran like a top the whole way. Excellent road trip vehicle, albeit a pretty thirsty one. With synthetic and fresh oil filter, it goes and goes (unless stopping to fill the tank, which happened often at only 18mpg-ish). After getting back I have just shy of 120K on it now. Wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere at this point.

I just bought an '07 from a State Police agency. Had 135K on it, and came with the complete maintenance history. Nothing except *** and brakes. The only thing it needs at present is front pads, and I bought a new set of Delco rotors as well as Bendix ceramic pads.

I also just purchased a retired PPV. Mine had just over 151k miles. It also came with a complete record of its maintenance since new in 07. Its most recent was new rotors, pads and front tires.
I would have to say the only thing I'm not too keen on is the rear gears. I'm almost positive they have the 4:10 option. I would prefer 3:73s.
Otherwise, I am very happy as is my family with it.

I hope you bought it directly from C&L Garage, and not at a mark-up from a dealer. An '07 with those miles should not have cost you over about $10K. I paid $10,600 for mine, with 134K.

You will probably find that the last time the trans was serviced was at about 90K. I would bite the bullet and buy about 24 quarts of Valvoline full synthetic Dexron VI, take the return line apart, service the trans with new fluid and filter, and let it run a whole bunch of fresh synthetic fluid through it. I changed to fresh synthetics from end to end.

Do yourself a favor, and get an Airaid Junior from Amazon.

Also, I am almost positive that NCSHP runs 3.73 limited slip gears.

I had no idea that they actually tuned them more aggressively, I have never read anything about it either. I thought it was with the gearing and performance enhanced suspension is what set them apart from the standard Tahoe's.

Do you have the 6spd or 4spd?

I bought it directly from the highway patrol and paid quite a bit less than 10, we bought our wife's car from them several years ago to.

I'll have to go check when it was serviced. But, thanks for the info. I'll be getting ready to do a complete fluid change within the next few weeks.

Why do you recommend an Airaid Jr? I was going to go with a stock drop in K&N syle filter.

Well, I'm running roughly 70mph at 2100+rpms with a 28 1/4" tall tire. I had something very close in size in my previous Tahoe and I was nowhere near 2k rpms cruising at 70, I was a lot closer to 1500rpm if I remember correctly.
