After further research I won't be replacing the BCM. It appears that this is not plug and play, rather the whole thing has to be reprogrammed. I guess it's going to have to go to the dealer for that. I'll try to setup a time next week when I can take it in. Well atleast I have the replacement BCM, I guess....

It can never be anything like a burnt out transmission, locked up differential, a wheel bearing, bad alternator, no-no, I always get these intermittent issues that require a lot of time, service, and hoop-jumping to first diagnose and then fix.....

As an update, I dropped the Tahoe off at the dealer last night. I got a call today. They replaced my BCM, had the new BCM programmed, and my truck was ready to pick up. $130 for the module, $190 for installation and programming. We'll see in the coming days if this resolves my intermittent electrical issues.

Note to anyone wanting to replace the BCM, it is NOT a do it yourself project. The new module has to be programmed.

After a little over 5 days on the new BCM I haven't had an issue with the tahoe. It appears changing the BCM has fixed all the intermittent electrical and switch issues I was experiencing. I consider this issue resolved.
