I just replaced hydroboost gaskets/orings put back together bled air out by doing 5 turns to rt then 5 to lft, then step on brake pedal 3x's, 50x's no nose from power steering and works but now I have no brakes and not sure brakes went out before noticing the leak from hydroboost. My ABS is out n need to get one from salvage yard? ABS went out while ago and still had brakes but would lock up if pushing to floor quickly. Could the ABS module stop brakes from finally working on is the hydroboost?

My go to way to bleed ANY P/S system on any vehicle is this: 1. Raise both front tires off ground, 2. Slowly fill the reservoir while a helper is slowly turning the steering wheel from stop to stop, 3. Watch for bubbles as you fill the reservoir during this process-you want to get to where you see no bubbles, 4. Then start the engine, with tires still off ground, and again fill reservoir as needed and turn very slowly from stop to stop, 5. When see no bubbles while doing this, drop the tires to ground and again, slowly turn, with engine running, and fill reservoir as needed. Then road test and double check reservoir for level. I was taught this process years ago by a steering and suspension specialist and it has never failed me, but I have ran across bad new parts.
