You’ll be hard pressed to find an aftermarket heated windshield replacement for any that do have this capability.

one stone chip in and you’re into a $2500 plus windshield easy.

i’d personally would not order it even though it would be a nice feature to have locally.
too much of a repair hassle.

Caddy’s did have the heated windshields with invisible wires optioned in the 90’s. The issue was $$. The only vehicle that has offers it now is LYRIC

Maybe an owner of a new Esky would like a heated windscreen and make use of it. I can see any owner freaking out when they find that a replacement heated windshield is $3k+. If there’s telematics or HUD you’re pushing $5k for a stone chip in the glass.

In SoCal they don’t offer auto policy amendments to cover windshield damage unless it’s turned in as comprehensive coverage claim. Most Ins Co don’t offer 1-$2h deductibles anymore so SoCal owners of Rovers are screwed if their heated windscreen break.

I’m the idiot that hardly sees real snow. I’m sure I’d be the one with the bright idea of poring a kettle of scalding hot water on a frozen windscreen learning an expensive lesson.

gm attempted to make heated washer fluid but it didn't go so well..... you can still retro fit maybe
You can get aftermarket kits that heat the fluid. I don't know how well they work but they've been around for over 20 years so either they work OK or a lot of suckers keep trying it?
