I had an issue where the high beams both sides went out. I started checking bulbs, all good. Fuses, all good. I know the relay is part of the fusebox, but I started swapping relays that I could touch. Now, I got the highbeam to work on Driver's side only, but the car won't start. Would really like to avoid a tow here. Any suggestions, besides putting the relays back because I tried that already?

Thanks
Dave

when you were swapping relays are you 100% certain you put them back where they belong? if not refer to the owners manual for relay locations
some time back I was doing something similar to the wife's truck and stuck a relay back in the wrong place, wondered why ish wasn't working for a bit and discovered my mistake

Thanks, no I was swapping them and checking the headlights, then swapping them back. I know which one affected the one headlight, but I wonder if now I have two failed relays and not just one.

have you tried disconnecting the battery ground for a couple minutes? these trucks are really finicky with power disruptions.
also if you have a meter test those battery top fusible links, if a relay or something shorted it could have popped one of those links, which results in some things working and not others. and sadly if this is the case your out about $150 for a new one
