No oil pressure at start up, 2001 Tahoe

How many miles, and what year? Any idea what caused the failure?
212k, 05 LQ4, I have been reading that it's a fairly common on the LQ4. Low Oil pressure is the leading contributer. It causes the center cam bearings to get hot and spin making a mess of things. The good thing is it normally doesn't take out the block and there are bigger OD bearings available for it.

I know it doesn't. I was just saying that to be a turd. I live in Eugene, Or. I hate even getting close to Portland. Ask me why as a PM. Also, when I said it, I think your location on your avatar said Portland. Did you change that since I posted?
