No start after running out of gas-hybrid 2007-2014

Because my extended warranty co will replace fuel pump witch is said to make unit not start, service mgr said he go ok to put new fuel pump in ,,,,,,, but then i started thinking , its not the fuel pump if the got it started and drove it 80 miles for the weekend !!!!! IM pulling the last of my hair out.

Fuel pumps don’t always just quit and never move again. I drove for hundreds of miles with a bad pump and intermittent problems before I got it changed.
