Hey guys, I have been lurking since I purchased my 07 Yuk in January of this year. I have been having a few minor issues and the urge to modify, so I decided to join.

I am a 23 year old full time student trying to get a B.S. in computer science and I work full time at a local environmental lab doing organic chemistry preparations on soils. Anything that has to deal with cars/trucks/boats intrigues me. I worked for a local Hendrick dealer for 3 years and have been into racing since I was a little thing.

My real passion is drag racing... or anything that has to deal with modding and going fast.

Here are a few pictures of my Z28... I built the motor, did the body work and installed every part myself. It's been an ongoing project since 2005.

As you can see in one picture, I have removed the side moldings. I plan to buy a set of simple 24's and black everything out. I am also considering the emblem-less black denali grille from ebay.

Well that's about it for me.

Thanks! The Z has a 355ci LT1, 4-bolt vette block, forged SRP 11:1 pistons, forged Eagle rods, stock heads, ported intake, Comp cam, stock crank, built 4l60e, custom converter, 3.73 gear, Strange coil overs, UMI chassis mount TQ arm, frame connectors and tubular lower control arms. I do have a kit on the car and am capable of shooting 200+ hp worth of nitrous to it once I get the fuel system worked out.

So far it has run mid 7's in the 1/8 and would go 11's in the 1/4. Not to bad for a car that I can drive anywhere.

There are some videos of it at www.youtube.com/Matthew103

Nice rides man. Props for doing all the work yourself, saves a ton of money. Make the front wheels lift off on the Yukon... LOL... now that would be awesome..
