I could use some more brain storming. I had the original lowering springs that come with Norcal SS kit from Beltech. I was getting some chattering sounds and noticed how bad my coils 4-6 were rubbing and rusting away so I thought it was that. I switched to a stiffer spring from Beltech and it seems the coil was not the issue. After driving again I would say the sound is probably coming from the air shocks so the sound is more like squeaking/air rushing sound. My air ride system kicks on for about 5sec when I start the car and dont notice it kicking on any more during normal driving conditions.
So my though is now if the air ride suspension is high/low would it cause the extra noise I might be hearing? I am using the 2" spacer and the provided rods from NorcalSS. I know I can adjust the air ride a little but wanted to ask the group on their thoughts and if anyone had the same noise during ride height adjustments on the air ride sensor rods.
Not sure if adding more ride height would stiffen the shocks and help the noise (increase ride height which is not what I would like) or possible use less height (lower the rear and get the Cali lean which is also what I would not like)
Didnt know if using the 1" spacer and increase ride height, kind of offsetting the two parts to maintain the ride height I want.
