What about the Naval Air Station in Alameda? The runways are closed and I've been on the phone with them for the last couple of minutes. There is some work on one of the runways, and they are doing drainage work somewhere on the air field....but that wouldnt be anywhere near us....hell, one strip is 1.3 miles long, the other is 1.51

It would be good for the families because they could go to the museum...

plus, Im on google looking facts up about it...Mythbusters goes out there often...and scenes from Terminator Salvation were made there...

Dates are tentative.... Jan 23-24

"As for the deposits of $50, they will be due ~2 months before the meet dates. PayPal won't allow us to refund $$$ more than 2 months out, so just in case the meet doesn't happen (or 10 deposits aren't received) we like to be able to refund the money. So with the above dates we could start taking deposits this Monday Nov 9th.

The remaining $200 will be due at the time of the tune."

For ease of traffic issues (I will not tune on that base), somewhere between Fremont and Milpitas would be ideal if we're doing it on the east bay. Peninsula traffic would make it tough unless we're near 280 from 380 down to Woodside.
South bay would work if we're off of 101 south of San Jose.
Somewhere near 580 east of Dublin would be fine.
Golden Gate park will be way too crowded and difficult to drive around to collect a lot of data.

Lets try to get some more deposits guys so we can start filling in the Time Slots...deposits must be made before we can post times. The Final $200 doesnt need to be paid till the meet, but we should work on getting the $50 deposit sent in a.s.a.p.
