You were there, taking your rig in for service, does not make you a customer?

Or, even, do they not want MORE customers?

And...
You probably have, some way at least, to communicate your bad experience there to others. Have they thought about that?

And, finally...
Some day, there will be computers in every house. Then you probably be able to share your experience, on something that I am calling the interwebs, with millions of people.
They clearly aren’t too concerned about it. Unfortunately for me. We have just moved to the area and this was my first trip to any dealership. Hopefully the one a little further away at least pretends to want my business if/when I take it in for issues again.

I also had an issue with the CPO warranty.... my defroster wasnt working on the passenger side. The dealer said to diagnose they had to take it apart, but if what they found wasnt covered I'd be out at least the $800 labor. I figured what could be bad in there that wouldn't be covered?? Go ahead.

Was one of the blend door actuators was bad. "Sorry that parts not covered, itll be about $1100 total"....

Long story short it turned into an odd ordeal of the CPO customer service saying their hands were tied because the DEALER said it's not covered, and the dealer saying their hands were tied because CPO says it's not covered.

I threatened legal action (and had a good basis for it... ya know, because HVAC/Actuators isnt on the list of wearable items) and finally got my truck back after a few more angry calls.

This is where I am at right now. Dealership says they were told it isn’t covered. Customer service says it should be but the dealership has the final say. Customer service even plays this little game where they say they will conference in the service manager and put me on hold for 5 minutes and then come back and say unfortunately he’s not available. I hang up with them and call the dealership and get him on the line without issue. This has happened twice. I even verified they were calling the right number. I really just wish they would acknowledge that the part should be covered without me having to discuss legal action. As though the trim falling of the vehicle isn’t frustrating enough, I now have to jump through hoops to get them to fix it.

So a bit more to my story that may help since you're going through the exact same thing. I told both sides I had their emails and voicemails saved contradicting each other, and am done with the games. Gave them by COB next business day to come to an agreed upon "who's denying warranty" and having my vehicle ready for pickup (repaired or not.. because it's been there over a week and I NEED it back for a planned vacation).

... guess what was miraculously fixed the next day.

Ever since I'm convinced CPO is a sham looking for suckers.

I’ve heard good things about the CarMax warranty. Maybe that’s a better place to buy used cars.
