Hooked my scanner up and looks like I may have a bad bcm. Engine, trans, and abs systems have a U0140 Lost communication with body control module. It’s showing it in history and current. I was pulling fuses so seeing how it’s current and they’re all back in and were good I’m thinking it’s a bcm issue.
further evidence of a power problem, not indicative of a bad bcm
get a meter out and start checking voltages/grounds
start at the battery and work your way out section by section

Listen to what people here are telling you.

This for sure sounds like a broken/bad ground cable. You can check by putting the black side of a set of jumper cables from the negative post to the engine block.
Cleaned up all the grounds I could find under the hood and bypassed the ground with jumper cables and still nothing. Tomorrow I’m taking the intake back off to make sure I haven’t pinched something.

Had 2 friends help me look for a ground problem and nothing so today went to a wrecking yard and got a used bcm. Fired right up but now my air bag light is on and a new engine code popped up, crankshaft variation not learned

Just for kicks, I’d put your other BCM back in and see what happens.
