Where do I start? Long time Chevy owner. Must have owned 20 new ones and I've never been as unhappy as with my 2015i LT. I couldn't wait to get it. Sorry I didn't rent one for a few days first. Not knocking the truck just being honest. Here's my list of beefs and complaints.
Yeah.. U should've rented one because a lot of your issues would have been evident in about a day
1) Headlights are dull as hell. I pull up close behind the car in front of me to check for a reflection to see if they're on. On an unlit street I have to use my fog lights in conjunction with the headlights.
This one I rectified by simply changing the bulbs. Seriously. I don't kno why I have HIDs on my '14 Impala LTZ (and were on my $30K Camaro RS) and not on my '15 $25K more Yukon SLT. This is one complaint of yours I agree with
2) Seats are hard as a rock compared to my 2012 Tahoe.
GM seemed to have benchmarked RRover on this, but I'd hardly call them hard.. more like firm. I love the way they feel as the idea of sofa cushions is not at all what I want in a driving machine.
3) Window fog up at will. Have to keep the defroster on at all times because I never know when it'll happen.
LOL.. maybe U are breathing to hard. Never once has this happened to me even when it was raining. Seriously. I haven't had to use defroster yet.. even last year in the Summer/fall
4) Dreaded water leak from antenna. Dealer has a new one on order. Brought it in and they knew what it was right away but they had to pull down the headliner to check for the leak anyway as per G.M. procedures. then they'll have to pull it down again to replace it. Guaranteed rattles.
Missed the boat on this one too. Thank GOD. Mine has never once sprung a leak
5) Navigation sucks. If I enter a destination where the street I'm looking for is a numbered street which is often) it refuses to get directions to that address. It suggests all different addresses. Onstar operators are very nice and they enter the destination for me but after my trial runs out I'll have to pay for this service? My iphone works pefect in these situations.
Never ha this issue either. I love the Onstar app, but just using voice or typing it in gets me there perfectly
6) Voice recognition works when it wants.
This depends on certain things I've found.. from all GM to BMW.. to Toyota.
If I speak in my normal tone.. which is pretty deep.. I sometimes have issues. When I use my .. and I'm not joking .. my "Carlton voice" (See Fresh Prince of Belair) I have no issue. My girlfriend, ironically, has not one issue in any of my cars with Voice command.
7) When I use the blue tooth hand free people have a hard time understanding me they say it's all garbled. I think maybe it was related to the water leak?
Never an issue except with Voice command and again.. Carlton voice and I'm good.
8) I have an issue with the gas pedal being too low compared to the brake pedal. The brake pedal rubs the side of my shoe. On occasion my foot gets caught behind the brake pedal. ( not funny).
Big feet??? I wear a size 13 and no issue. Does your vehicle have adjustable pedals?
9) Lane departure warning is a pita and I have it shut. Dodging potholes has the seat shaking all the time otherwise.
10) If I'm in the left hand lane in stop and go traffic and there's a center divider the parking assist thinks I'm parking and shakes the seats agin. I shut that off also when driving.
Turned all of those beeps and vibrations off. It is a nice option for effers who can't drive, but I don't need it. Great selling point in the future.. with the added selling point to the new customer of "never used." I kinda feel like the Back-up cam is making me too dependent on it as well

I think you nailed it right there. Headlights are on par with 12 year old GM pickups. Having driven newer Audi's and Acura's with HID/LED headlights, I can tell you difference is night and day (pun intended). The GM (non HID) headlights are a complete joke at this price point.
As I pointed out.. its not GM wide.. its GM-Choice. They really seem to screw up in this one regard. Again, $40K Chevy Impala LTZ=HIDs.. hell $30K Camaro RS.. HIDs with Halo lights.. $65K Yukon.. halogens.
They should simply pass a policy that anything over $35K should have HIDs at this point. It doesn't make me hate the company, but it is a bone-head move
