Well done, *****!

Can you tell me your process for lifting the truck to access the links? Where'd you place the jack, and did you need to pull the wheels to get to the links? I'm assuming I need to pull the wheels, which is keeping me from accessing the links myself. If I don't have to, though, then maybe I'll have at this (adjusting my links shorter).

I don't want to jack the truck up and pop these link ends and mess something up. I don't know what pulls/stretches where, and don't want to do it wrong and pop those things.

Thanks!

I put the jack about 2' in front of the rear tire, on the trucks frame. As soon as you start to lift the truck, you can see the link...no need to remove the tire. You'll need a flat head screwdriver or mini pry bar to pop the links off, and I used channel locks to squeeze them back on...

Thanks! I guess I don't fully understand how that whole mechanism is rigged. Is the bottom mount of the linkage mounted to something pretty "fixed," and does the thing that the top of the link is fixed to move somewhat freely up and down? IOW, Is the bottom mounted to a piece of suspension, and the top mounted to a floating arm or something? I remember seeing something in the Belltech install instructions about not dropping the axle such that you could damage the sensors -- but, it sounds like you're dropping the axle to allow access to the links. Can you help me understand the set up better? Thanks!

Tony, I've had this truck new since '09... I'm just hoping to know all I can know about the way this autoride works, instead of going the trial-and-error route. I'll call you later. Thanks!

no problem. How much more do you need from the rear end to come down to be happy?

Is it normal to rub with stock 20s? Both tires rub in the rear in tight turns...much more so on the passenger side. How am I suppose to fit 24s if I'm already rubbing with stock wheels?

I've trimmed some already, but I hadn't heard of any rubbing issues with stock wheels.

Mines rubs a little with the 24s on the passenger side with the 2/4 drop but as Tony says its just the plastic. I suspect it will wear away on its own as it is less and less rubbing sound everytime I drive. You will be good with the 24s.
