Yes.. I know I know.. why would I even bother asking.. just go with Moog. But, in the off chance has anyone had any experience with this brand? I did a few Google searches, apparently Advance Auto now carries this brand, althoughIm getting some mixed reviews.. some saying they swear by this brand and all youre paying for with Moog is the name.. but then there's there horror stories. So.. has anyone here ever used them?

But heres why I ask; http://www.ebay.com/itm/271061904606

I recently bought a similar bundle OE Brand steering linkage parts from ebay. At first, I was pleasantly surprised, all the parts arrived quickly and appeared to be well constructed. It looked like a great deal considering Moog prices.

Fast forward to the end of the story, the pitman arm OE Brand provides for the NBS/GMT800 truck is manufactured with a defect in the spline alignment, it appears to be off by 1 spline position. This created a 90 degree rotation of the steering wheel when the linkage was all reassembled.

I stumped 2 mechanics with this problem and wound up spending 3 times what the kit cost until I found somebody who figured out the defect. I went ahead and replaced the ptiman arm w/ a Moog pitman arm and now everything is properly aligned and on center.

Although I had no problems w/ the tie rod ends, idler arm/bracket and ball joints, they are all presently in the truck w/ only the Moog pitman, the experience has left me less then thrilled. I would not buy another pitman arm made by them.

Moog from Rockauto or Amazon. Much better price than anywhere else.

Moog is good, Raybestos has a new line out that does away with the gusher type ball joints. I'm going to try the new Raybestos parts when I rebuild my front end.

they are all crap IMO

Moog is garbage these days on most stuff.

That ebay stuff is probably the same stuff as the white box parts you can get at an auto parts store. Moog is only marginally better than white box.
