Thats the thing though nothing is burnt or anything? It all looks perfect.

Get this, messed with the fuse box a little. Then I unplugged both rear sensors. Went and put the fuse in. Didn't blow. Started car didn't blow. Then plugged in o2 rears and didn't blow yet. Driving it and now o2 HTR-RDY is OK no longer inc. No idea if its gonna blow again once I turn car off.
if the fuse is staying good and it's reading ok you just have to drive it about 50 miles for it to set

I got HTR-RDY to set on the ODBII. I guess that will make it ok for Smog. But I'm sure it'll blow again, but the fact it's set should get me by I suppose.

Now just waiting on CAT-RDY and EVAP-RDY. Any tips for those? I've driven already about 80 miles. Still not setting. I follow the damn drive cycle thread too.

cat should set with the 02. might take a little bit longer
evap takes 3 cold/hot drive cycles, basically it has to be cold start and ran a bit till it's good and warmed up like 30 minutes or so, then let it idle at least 30 seconds before shutting off X3

It definitely didn't set with the o2 at least yet. o2 set today and I've driven it about 25 miles since it set. Do you recommend just keep driving it hoping it sets or do I need to be worried there is something wrong with my cat? Is there a good way to test my cat at home outside the OBDII setting it?

takes about 50 miles usually, I don't know of any other way to test either it sets or you end up setting a cat inefficiency code, they can be sort of tested with a infra red thermometer or take out the 02 sensor and look in the hole with a camera to see if it looks burnt/melted/clogged up inside.

Ok thanks I'll run it some more miles. Last night i disconnected neg battery cable for about 5 mins. Does that reset everything? Just so I know because that means I've only driven about 25-35 miles since last night.

ya disconnecting the battery generally will make you have to reset most of the smog related parts, they program it like that so people can't cheat the system

So I've figured a work around to get the o2 HTR monitor to become ready. But I cannot get the EVAP or CAT to become ready. Not sure where to go from here. They just won't set in my IM Readiness in my OBDII.

Open to ANY suggestions to try.

For evap to run the fuel level in the tank needs to be between 1/8 and 7/8. Might make sure by having around a half tank or so in case the fuel gauge isn't exact. And it should run then from a cold start.

Thanks man, i have a faulty fuel gauge. Think that might be causing issues?

Any tips to get CAT to set?
