OBD2 ADAPTER

I got a good lesson this morning (2am) for quite awhile reading about using my Droid plus adapter to scan for future problems, and was amazed at what it do, but I need to purchase an inexpensive adapter, which I've seen for under $10.00 to over $200.00.
Let me know what you have had good luck with ?
I'm so proud of myself, @ this age I can still learn from just studying a little harder. Thanks forum.

First off David I appreciate your service, second of all you must be older than dirt. as I'm not far behind. I just retired from working on KC10's

I kinda had the same thought, you can get a OBD2 to USB cable for a laptop. OK then you add the GM pcmia card that goes into the Tech2 scanner , into an Old laptop that is equipped to handle the card, and then add the TIS2000 disc that comes with the Tech 2 kit. I 'm thinking it should have the same functionality as a Tech2. any thoughts?

77 yrs young this August which I am not looking forward to. I watched a video last night that was using a Droid phone (which I have) and a Bluetooth OBD2 plug in adapter, while using the Torque app on my cell. It works fairly well and NO cables, all Bluetooth connected. Now I just need to decide on a plug in adapter @ a reasonable price.
