Wow so much good info for cheap! I guess I'll go through and see if any of the ones mentioned can show misfire history or realtime that will be the most important for me and if it can read codes, those two are important for me

I'm not positive.. I've never needed it so I haven't checked. I don't think torque will show you real time misfire info. I could be wrong though. There's a lot in there. I could have missed it. But, it's still a fantastic tool.

So I was just reading this link,

And you can get misfire history. You just have to install them separately. I checked for GM and sure enough it's there.. so I guess it's even better than I thought!

Just looking in the App Store for the torque pro app you have shown. The ability to see missfire data is pretty awesome. However I cannot find the software in Apple App Store. Is this android only?

Well I ordered my scan tool today, should be here by Friday and I'll see how good it will work. I got the one that does both iPhone and androidIt's also the #1 best seller, it was only $19, it had the best ratings, I even went through and read most of the negative ratings, which mainly came from people that expected it to come with its own free app that does everything they want. I'll be downloading torque pro and dash commander to see which works best since I have both android and iOS devices

I got in my scanner and downloaded torque pro, I haven't gotten to do much with it, i was able to verify it works and put together my dashboard on it, was able to see misfire data both realtime and history which is awesome, now I just need to figure out what other data to watch to know where my problems are...

Will any of these show timing in real time so I can adjust and get within -2 +2?
