Hey guys
Im in the middle of fabing up a big brake kit for my 96 2 door tahoe 4wd ( yes i know they make em already)

Ive been basing my measurements off a spindle from 89 to 93ish silverado 4wd

I just noticed now that the lower control arms from this years are diff than my 96 ( ball joints go on with screws vs mines are pressed on)

Well long story not so short, are the 4wd Spindles the Same from 88-99?? Or are they diff , this is really gona suck behind if they are!???

any help would be great !!!

As far as what I have seen all steering knuckles from 88-99 on the k1500's are the same. Now the 2wd are obviously different

Big OEM brakes for OBS 4x4

I installed big 13-inch rotors and dual piston calipers on the front of my
97 Yukon GT 4wd using ALL FACTORY PARTS! I used modified steering
knuckles from an 01 Tahoe, with rotors and calipers from an 08 Tahoe.
They fit perfect inside my 17-inch wheels. If you still have factory 16's
you would have to use the 12-inch rotors and dual piston calipers from
the 01 Tahoe. Once you have the modified knuckles, everything else
can be bought from the auto parts store over the counter. No need to
pay thousands for aftermarket kits to have big brakes, when you can
use big brakes designed and built by GM!
