I was linked these headers in my thread http://www.ebay.com/itm/OBX-Long-Tu...-0L-5-7L-2-4-WD-/160882131098?forcev4exp=true and I was curious if they would fit a 4x4 model? I did some searching and the only person with a 4x4 tahoe that bought these(I forget his username but he has a red 4x4) posted a thread on buying them, but never anything on installing them. I'm asking because I think on some nbs trucks there are headers that list as fitting the 4x4 models but really need to be banged the shit out of to work. Sorry if this has been covered previously.

They are sitting inmy living room because I travel 95% for work.
However I am writing my resignation email right now, so in a few weeks I will find out if you can wait.

Well after 17 years of fixing the machines that make microchips for the same company (bought and sold/changed names 3 times) I am going to work for a customer instead of being a vendor. Now I wont have to travel at all (from 95%) and only work 3 on 4 on.......14 days a month.:party33:

So how would this work, I'd get the headers put on, and it's optional if I want to delete rear o2 sensors/keep cats or whatever(I'd want to keep cats but delete rear sensors) then I'd have to get a tune I guess...does anyone ever tunes these old ass things anymore? I know you can get mail order with blackbear or that...Mike dude on gmt but the prices are pretty high up there.

I was under the understanding is that you cannot fit long tubes on a 4WD cause of the front diff or the transfercase. at least that is what i found like 6 years ago when i was putting headers on my 99 Escalade. I went with the Doug Thorley MId tube headers which sounded great.

why would you keep the cats but delete the rear o2 sensors, that makes no sense if you have the cats in then the rear o2 sensors will not throw a code. the only time you would want to delete the rear o2 sensors is when you remove the cats.

and you dont have to tune them out you can modify the O2 sensor to belive the cats are working.

this works on the trucks too
