Odd Brake Light Issue

Searched the forums and didn't find anything posted similar to my problem. I have a 95 Tahoe LT. When I got the truck I had no brake lights at all. Fuses all good and truck didn't come through with a relay. Changed out the brake light switch (a job) with no success. After messing with the turn signal switch (it's sloppy as hell and will be replaced this weekend) I got the passenger side and 3rd light to work, but not getting power to the driver's side.

Any ideas?

try cycling the hazard switch to see if it clears it up but it already sounds like the whole switch assembly is broken.

It is in pretty rough shape, but according the the electrical diagram the switch feeds to the passenger side light then over to the driver side. So I assumed if I had power to passenger side I should get power to the right. I'm going to grab a few circuit boards next weekend when I hit the junk yards just in case. Hopefully it is just the switch.
