Hi guys, git a 2012 yukon xl denali with an odd problem, when opening the tailgate, the glass part will open by itself when tailgate is halfway up. I tried to search online but found nothing related to this issue, is there a setting somewhere to disable this?

That's a new one on me and I've been here a while...
A good bidirectional scanner showing live data would likely indicate if both are being commanded to open when you release the liftgate.

Could the liftglass switch be broken, where the change in angle makes contact?
Wiring chafed near the hinge area and grounding under movement? (pink wire)

i have not checked the wire, the switch itself for the glass is new, ill try to check the mentioned pink wire
