OEM Backup Camera Help

I want to get a backup camera for my 08 Tahoe LT. My factory unit has Nav and a display button to adjust rear camera. Does that mean it is pre-wired already for it? If so, can I just plug n play the camera? Is the dealer the only place I can get the correct camera with harness?

Not sure if it's pre wired. Yes plug and play. Definitely not the dealer.... They tend to rip you off. Do your research find the right part number and buy it online from eBay or gmpartsdirect.com it's way cheaper.

You can buy the whole appliqué that the rear Bowtie is on that has the built in factory camera with it already too. Or you can buy the factory came and drill holes in your existing appliqué.
