Does the OEM bluetooth work through the rearview mirror/onstar, or does it go through the radio?

I'm trying to figure out whether or not my truck has it. It has a phone button on the mirror, and a phone button on the steering wheel, but not sure how to set anything up and I don't want to mess with it too much without knowing.

Any info appreciated.

If it's the 07 in your sig it does not have bluetooth. That didn't become available until 09. The call button on the steering wheel rings up onstar.

You have to get a new VCIM that has the bluetooth...if you do this your onstar will not work, but you will have bluetooth...I didn't give a crap about onstar so I put the new VCIM in and it works flawlessly. I have never used the mirror for bluetooth, only on the steering wheel. Do a search on bluetooth VCIM or something on here, there is a huge thread regarding this mod.
