Not sure where you read that I consider the Walker a decent stainless muffler.

I'd bet money that Walker is the OEM who made the muffler which came on your truck from the factory.

Tenneco owns Walker, and Tenneco also owns Rancho, another OEM part maker that you might find on GM Trucks/SUV
