You don't need to serve to be a part of the battle my brother just be there for the Vets coming home whether its Family, friend or classmate. Show them that you appreciate them and they are going to need help cooping with civilian life and you can help them just by stopping and saying hi. But never ever ask if they killed anyone in war, that takes them right back to a place they are trying to forget. The first time I got home I was at a bond fire and a guy from high school I didn't like but I would let by gons be by gons and the first word out of his mouth did you kill anybody over there punk ass. Before I knew it I had my side blade at his throat and people pulling me off. Over there amps your instincts and it also amps your aggression in bad situations plus the booze does not help. He got mad and wanted hand to hand and I walked away and he came at me. I said I'm not fighting you, he said no matter how much training you cant beat state wrestling champ of 1999. So I said Ill entertain you. He tried to take me down and I spun around and slapped him in the back of his head and said are you sure you want to do this and I made it clear to everyone I'm doing this in self defense and thank God some had a video camera there, they never had video phones readily available back then so I beat him until his jaw was hanging and it nose was offset. So please don't instigate or ask anything about battle. I would have went to jail but the Video came out and I had 100 to 200 witnesses saying I don't want to fight you. Case Closed. Video Showed him trying to attack me over and over and then he got me down and that's when instincts took over I rolled over got him in an arm bar busted his arm and got up and pounded him to the state he was in. Clearing my name. This guy was the town bully so People didn't shun me thank God they said hi and clapped when they saw me. That was one way to coop with civilian life, never instigate or start a fight if your in the armed forces. You have training no one knows about and you can handle yourself 50% faster and 50% smarter than your opponent and it didn't help that I lifter weights a lot when I was there so I was 5"11 220 when I got home after my first tour, all muscle. When I became IED and sniper I dropped down to my natural weight of 185 because you need to be nimble hidden and agile. Bulk doesn't help you cut a wire or pull a trigger. To all of you Vets do not do what I did because you could go away for a very long time if I didn't have video. Because you cant rely on witnesses when a guy takes a beating that bad. Civilians please don't instigate or ask us about war, you can ask about the girls over there or the barracks we stay in but anything beyond the fence keep it hidden. Please

Thank you for supporting my brother his departure date has been moved to August 31st. He would not say why but this mission he is going on scare's the $hit out of me because he said this type of mission is one that I don't come back from unless God is watching over me. I'm watching over his Denali and his forum use to try and help people as much as I can because he asked me too.

My Brother is one guy nobody wants to f with, 7 guys had a problem with him because one of the guys girlfriends took a liking to him, after all of his battles and scars he has is appealing to some women, plus he has a sleeve tattoo that has a meaning for every mission he went on. The one guy who's girlfriend who he was talking too, he wanted nothing more for the girl and the guy to walk away and leave him alone because he didn't want to take him where he did not want to go. He told the guy his rank and his combat abilities and said he cant do this. Then the guy brought seven guys over and kept pushing him and pushing him. The guys were big so the wimp I am I stood behind my brother because he is a big guy. 6'2" 245lbs and he said you heard what I told you about my training and we have witnesses here to back that up. So they went to the Alley and he said we can go 1 on 1 or if you feel better going with 8 on 1, I have no problem with that. Two guys got two hits from him and were knocked out cold, the others kept coming and he kept blocking and not wanting to hurt them until they pulled out a knife, then he went ballistic unarming the knife. The he went one at a time knocking these guys down, they felt tough because they were big and buff but Fast Lane took them all out with in 3 minutes. Officers came and Handcuffed my brother but the crowed said they were taking the wrong guy he was protecting himself. They saw he was an Army Ranger and gave him the respect that he deserved and 5 of the 8 guys were taken by ambulance and the other 3 were cuffed and put in a squad car. I told them one pulled a knife on him and my brother said he didn't and let the authorities clean everything up. Some how one of the beat up guys brother found out and came to the bar to take my brother on. These guys worked out at the heavy Metal gym and were on Steroids so they puffed their chests out but he was still smaller than my brother, genetics I wish I would have got. He knocked him off his feet with one punch and the guy kept on coming so my brother roundhouse kicked him in the ribs breaking two ribs and broke his nose, eye socket and his jaw. The Cops came back and we explained the story and the cops found Crystal Meth on the guy which explained why he wouldn't quit. My brother said to the cops this is how a war veteran gets treated when he is home for a few weeks. He walked home because he hates fighting Americans. He felt bad the next two days there was no cheering him up. He has a lot of Demons which he needs help for and I hope this is his last tour than we can get him some help. I just hope he is not to far gone that we can real him back in.

My name is Todd the brother of the Army Ranger in service. If he would have needed help in the fight I would have helped, I'm just a civilian but very proud of my brother and what he goes through so we can sleep in peace at night. He is gone on his next tour as we speak. I don't know why people don't treat him like he should be treated here in the states. That fight should have never happened, my brother told the guy that his girl friend was just talking to him and that is it, he is not interested in women who are in a relationship, he has respect for the guy who has girl friends and he tried to walk away but they kept on coming at him. He does whatever he can not to fight while he is home but the a$$holes who were on steroids thought that could muscle him down with 8 people, my brother said no until the guy through a drink on him and that's where he draws the line of disrespect and he clearly told them his rank and training he has but they just wouldn't quit and I told them he is one guy you do not want to f with. But they took that as a challenge. Wrong move. I can tell when my brother gets depressed and after the fights he got in he felt like $hit. All he wants is to be home and relax and enjoy his time away from the war but people don't see it that way. He actually visited the guy who was on Meth in the Hospital and told him to please get help to get off the steroids and Meth because it will ruin his life. My brother never tries to make enemies in the states he does whatever he can to help people, he has always been that way. Seeing him fight makes me scared also because my brother knows *********** people in hand to hand combat and I'm glad he restrained him self just to fight and not have a flash back of the war. He actually talked with the Doctor to get the guy in a treatment program to help him with his addictions. With the injuries he has he wont be able to leave the hospital anytime soon so hopefully this will give him time to get off whatever he was on. I look up to my brother, everything he does is for the welfare of the people who needs help. When the guy pulled the knife it scared me also because that is a sign of a death threat and he could have killed the guy in self defense but he disarmed him right away and through the blade where no one could find it, its on top of the bar. He just wanted a peaceful night out with me to catch up. I never talk to him about the war because that opens wounds that he does not need to think about. While he was walking him I stayed a block behind him all the way home because I could tell he was depressed and had regret. I just wish people would understand what he has gone through over there and he does not need to go through that while he is state side. I respect him more after he visited the guy in the hospital to get him help. He has a big heart and protects and helps people when he can. God Bless my Brother and I pray he has a guardian angel while he is over in the sandbox because he is one of the Ranger Elites and his first mission is a sniper mission where he and his spotter need to infiltrate a high power king pin and he as 2 weeks to infiltrate is base by crawling in Ghillee suits and getting close enough to take a precise and accurate shot because he only gets one shot before they get made. SO he needs to get in and out without dying and that scares me but he has the training to take out his mark without being seen. He said he needs to get in within 3000 feet before he can take the shot and they need to wait for right weather conditions and he needs to trust his spotter on how to make the shot depending on wind, density in the air, and the position of the mark so my prayers go out to him and his spotter. He said after that mark is taken out he will go back to disabling IED's. So he is in dangers way everyday he is there. God Bless Him and all the other soldiers fighting for us
