@MadDogDelpho , you are correct on the windo good sir! @willthom , in addition to the rear window, I can also tell by the chrome tip of the exhaust kit and by the onstar/xm antennas on top. The 2005 and 2006s just had the smaller circle shaped exhaust end. But you have the little square xm antenna over your passenger side, whereas my 2006 doesn't have that. In 2006 is when gm did away with the little square and put it somewhere inside the truck and gave the trucks a little shark fin style antenna over the drivers side and nothing over the passenger side.

@MadDogDelpho and @Bigbeardenali1992, that was pretty impressive. I can correctly identify a 68 vs 69 Chevelle (grille, tail lights, etc) or 67 vs 68 Camaro (vent windows) from a mile away, but I totally thought our trucks were the same on the outside for their whole generation.

Consider me schooled!

And I'm pretty sure from 02-03 the taillights have a slightly different hue around the lights themselves. Like 00-02 have red around the edges, while the 03-06s have a more maroon, dark red color around them.

The 05-06 GMT800s have a slightly different upper rear window, which your truck has. I don't know if there are any other things that differ specifically for the Denalis to tell them apart but I know that that is a big sign.

I just went back and looked at his photo, and it IS different than my '00 Yukon XL rear window (the way I though all NBS liftgate windows were shaped.)

His is flat across the top (top of the glass stops below the CHMSL), mine, the glass come up higher on ether side:

Now I'm going to be looking at every NBS rear window now...

Funny enough my 2006 had the rear window like his. But when I did the esky third mod I ended up getting an esky rear glass to make the brake lamp and base fit together they way it should. And the glass hatch I picked up came off a 2004 esky. So I have the pre 2005 style glass and I actually like it better than the 2006 style.

Maybe captain obvious here, but i always look at the bottom. Pre 05 had the molding all across. 05+ is just the finger grip in the middle.
