It was a joke.

My owners manual states that my 99 Yukon has a 29.5 gallon tank. I'm pretty sure it hasn't changed since 1996.

My 2 door yukon gt has a 30 gallon tank... Your guage my be bad if your only putting 18 in at empty. I didnt think they put anything smaller then 30 gallon until the NBS came about

Thanks! Mighty civil of you. :Handshake: Simple Q's like these can sometimes get a lot of unnecessary UNcivil replies.

I bought my truck used. No manual. Had a hard time believing it had a 29+/- gal tank given my frequency of refills. Now I'm pretty stoked!

So the truck has a new fuel pump but the gauge does "buzz" around. I'm sure its the cluster. It's not my first GM truck. These gauges are horrible.

Anyway, I mostly use my ScanGuage II for fuel calculating purposes as well as monitoring the other important things.
