The longer you want to own it, the shorter the intervals.are you still running the afm mode?they can use oil with that system..my good friend who maintains a fleet of police tahoes,says to use 5-30 syn,@5k intervals

Im gonna try Valvoline Restore and Protect for my next change in 0w-20. Have seen some remarkable videos on it, and figure its worth a shot...

I'm the black sheep regarding oil use 2014 Equinox has some 10-11k mile interval changes (220k miles, V6) using Mobil 1 5W-30 and Wix XP filters, 2020 Yukon (125k miles, 6.2L AFM active) goes 7-8K using Kirkland 0W-20 and Wix XP filters. Oil analysis after every change and Blackstone says keep doing what I'm doing.
