I just lost a AFM lifter in my 2007 5.3. Found it separated on the exhaust valve for number 7. Luckily the cam was spared. Generally, how much is it to tune out the AFM? I am removing the VLOM and putting a plate over it. There is no way the amount of money I saved in gas compares to the 800 in parts i'm throwing down to fix this. Thank god I can do it myself or I'd be looking at a new engine if you factored in labor costs.
