If you pull that oil filter adapter off please take a pic. I think I’d like to replace any gasket that’s on that piece.

while it is parked overnight stick a large clean piece of cardboard under it be sure to note the placement, then in the morning examine the cardboard and this should give you a pretty good idea of where to look for the leak
sounds like it's probably the oil cooler adapter seal then that has been previously mentioned, mine leaked before alsoIt drips off the bottom of the oil filter.

pretty tight spot up there with the filter onYeah, from what I see it's like a $4 gasket. I'll try changing that today. I think it can be done without draining the oil? I'm almost tempted to just pull the filter again and just change the adapter plate gasket too along with that blockoff plate gasket.

Yeah but you can pull the filter without draining the oil. Just the oil that’s in the filter itself will be lost.pretty tight spot up there with the filter on
That’s why I couldn’t find that adapter gasket. Which makes sense since it’s behind the oil filter which has its own gasket. I replaced the oil cooler gasket last time I did the oil pan gasket.Oil Cooler Blockoff Plate Gasket p/n 72435 $5.29 from Napa Auto Parts. Dude behind the counter says there is no gasket on my Yukon under the oil filter adapter. So I just changed the one. So far no drips. Fingers crossed!
