I have a minor oil leak, not enough to even add oil between oil changes but I get a half dime size drop or two on the driveway every couple of days; plus I noticed some wetness on the rear side of my oil pan. I remember the last time I got an oil change they told me I have a rear main seal leak. My question is; I checked the inspection hole on my bell housing and my flywheel is completely dry. Could it still be the rear main seal leak?96e7354dc2d99dd675de4885c65106a5.jpg5ae4a65b88b78aa1d55de94b7828482f.jpg2e2e08ee104ad2997c7fd4b524b05b5b.jpgbf2adaa145b6994766b807b72279fce7.jpg

Not the best pics but usually, I looked for a drop about to fall. Usually on filter or pan or whatever. Then I go from there. I personally never seen an ls rear main go bad unless it was caused by positive crank pressure. Is your engine modified? Oil pan gasket is much more common

Not modified at all not physically anyway just tuned with the AFM/DOD shut off. But thanks I was thinking the same thing about the rear main, that's why I thought it was weird when they mentioned that.
