If you look at the last pic in this post I posted you will see the oil pressure sensor and cam sensor. Just behind them you can see the intake Vally plate or belly pan. I am just as confused as you are to where the oil is comming from now. I was sure it was the cam sensor, untill I power washed the engine and seen its not possible. Other than the valve cover gaskets which are dry on mine it has to be the Vally pan. To be continuedim confused. So you're saying he leak is NOT coming from the cam sensor? Where is this belly pan gasket?
Pics will follow in the morning. But what I found is the bolt on the Vally pan closest to the oil pressure sending unit was loose. All the other ones were tightOk that must be my problem too, unless only the very back of the valve covers has a leak. Pics please!
So can I get to that bolt to tighten without taking anything off, other than the vortex shroud? Thanks for the help, I definitely will try this soon to see if helps.View attachment 57304 This was the bolt that was loose
Yeah. Take off the cover and the bolt is 10mm. Let me know how you make out.So can I get to that bolt to tighten without taking anything off, other than the vortex shroud? Thanks for the help, I definitely will try this soon to see if helps.
