I must be the luckiest guy in the world. After dropping $1500 on a sound system leaving me with barely any cash, I have 2 oil leaks a few days later.

Took it to my mechanic, and we clearly seen that one of the oil leaks was from my oil lines breaking. The other leak, which is back farther near the oil pan and whatnot, hasn't really been found yet, but he thinks it's coming from the valve cover gasket.

Maybe you guys can give me a little help? I was driving yesterday and noticed my oil pressure gauge going from 50 (which is normal), down to about 30 when I would come to a stop. Later that night my oil pressure was up to 70 while I was driving! Also, yesterday when I was driving I kept smelling what seemed like gas, and also another smell which might have been oil. Pretty strange. What do you guys think?

mine had a really bad leak and now its gone it was my LOWER oil line on the filter housing.. easy ass fix and it makes it look like a huge leake witch it isnt.

start the truck crawl underneath with a light and see if u see it FLOWING out of the lines around the nut. the new oil line nuts with a o ring and a line clip is about 6 bucks at napa! good luck

I leak oil too, mine is from the pan because the gasket is warn down on the plug. Your oil pressure gauge is supposed to move from around 20 at idle to about 40 under acceleration. (when warmed up)

clean your engine top to bottom, best you can.

these years were notorious for intake gasket leaks at the rear of the intake. That, and valve cover gaskets are easy to do. Clean it as best you can, drive it and see if you can determine where it's coming from.

The actual oil pressure seems really good.
