Man, I wished I would of seen this thread earlier, I've been going through the same thing, but every time it happens, it's around the 3k mile, so I was assuming it was time to change the oil anyways. and my truck is already over the 100k miles. So they'll just tell me to buzz off or pay for whatever repair they do. Even though it's something that GM should repair, even it's over 100k, it's still the newer body style.
