Oil needle

so at idle i am 40psi when i drive or get on it will go up to 80 and go back down.. i replaced the sensor today same thing no change

I an sit in park give it gas and same thing

I'd put money on it being a bad oil pressure sending unit

I change the oil pressure switch And nothing

Isn't the oil pressure supposed to go up as you rev the engine or mash the gas? I am new here guys, just thinking. I don't think it should peg though right? Also, do you have too much oil in it?

Having a similar issue with the oil needle, a few weeks back it shot up and maxed out and now everytime i turn my truck on the needle stays stuck on high. Any thoughts?
