Hi all! Happy moon landing anniversary (well, a day late)
2002 Yukon 4x4 5.3 flex. Anyone know capacity of the OEM oil pan? Most of the aftermarket pans say 6 quarts, but I can't find anything for the OEM pan. I'm dripping oil daily even when it's just sitting...I think I have a crack in the pan, and uv dye was useless ( maybe I used a crappy brand I don't know).curiously, I used to lose a quart about every 3k miles, but after changing out oil pickup tube oring and front crankshaft seal, I'm losing maybe 1/4 quart per 3k miles, so it's better but now I drop more compared to before. I can't tell 100% if it's leaking from the pan gasket either but it appears not. Main seal replaced too as I had trans work done too, and looks dry looking through bell inspection cover. Whole bottom of the pan is oily. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks!
