Hello everyone im new to the forum! I just bought a 1999 Yukon Denali from my sister and i love it. I fell in love with this truck the day she got. She now has a 2010 BMW X5 and let me get this truck for a steal. I have Ford everything but have a soft spot for this GMC.
I do have 1 concern: I changed the oil in it yesterday and now my oil pressure seems kind of low according to the gauge. It was fine before with the old oil and filter idling around 40pnds and accler. to 60pnds. Now with the fresh oil and fliter it idles around 20pnds and accler to 40pnds. It has around 200k and runs smooth and quiet. I dont know what type of oil my sister used in it and hell she doesnt know for that matter because she took it to goodyear for oil changes but i use Pennzoil high mileage 10w-30 and ac delco oil filter. So: should i be concrened and what is a normal oil pressure for this truck. Thanks in advance.
