oilleaking from whats this?

Hi everyone,

Changed my oil the other day, and noticed a little bit of a leak. drove it again today and still leaking after I cleaned the area to make sure it was actually leaking.....

I have attached a few pictures. it seems to me to be leaking right by the area with the2 bolts to the left and above the oil filter. can anyone please tell me what this is called and how hard its going to be to fix, and/or cost??

After doing a bit more research.every where I have looked says its the oil cooler block off plate.

Can anyone here confirm that ?

That's correct. Remove it, clean it, and put some ultra black RTV on the oring seal and bolt it back on.

This would be a good time to add a external oil cooler and remote oil filter kit.since you will be needing to remove that plate.
